If you read previous entries, I was complaining about the cold and snow. FINALLY, the snow is GONE!! Beautiful weather has arrived. The birds are singing and making their nests again. The trees and flowers are blooming. I can go outside and be comfortable in a short sleeved shirt and capris and sandals or better yet, barefoot.
I love the kind of weather that we can open windows and be comfortable. Between 70 and 80 is perfect for me, even with an occasional thunderstorm to sleep by as long as there is not a tornado watch in place. So, until the allergies begin, I personally will enjoy this. Bring on the rainstorm!!
If it did not get any colder than 35 (with an occasional dusting of snow) in the Winter and no warmer than about 90 (without the humidity) in the Summer that would be the perfect weather all year long.

Settling in
Well, nearly three weeks have passed since the new baby arrived. We are trying to settle into a new routine. I had forgotten how different life is with a new baby. We just get into what we think is a routine, but our little one changes it so quick, that we have to start over.
Then the question, did you sleep well? Response: Sleep? I haven't seen sleep in days, no, weeks.
It is amazing how even changing diapers is a great thing because I have been looking forward to this baby for nine long months. It is something to look forward because mentally and physically I have been preparing for it. I have been in tears a few nights because I have given the baby all I physically can give and it still cries. I don't really mind though deep down inside because it is the baby that we had been waiting for that God has in His grace and mercy given to us.
Hopefully within the next couple of months we will be able to get a routine established that allows us all to get more sleep.

Interesting website.
Here is an interesting website. For those of us who remember this commercial (we all see it every year if we watch the pre super bowl commercial contest). It was about the introduction of Apple computers and how the old computers were the same old thing. Someone (it is still a mystery who exactly) took it and made a campaign ad.
I don't like either of these candidates. I think they are both scary, but the commercials someone has made for them are hilarious. I saw the Obama one and I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard. I am not sure off hand which one is which.

Well, warm weather is here now and my kids love to be outside. Me, personally, I hate being outside. I look at my yard and I get depressed as it is such a mess, that I don't know where to start.
Thankfully, my mom is here for a couple of more weeks to help with the baby and she loves working outside. She has done so much outdoor work, I will never know how to thank her exactly.
While she is out there, she takes my kids out so they can have their daily dose of fresh air which, thankfully, tires them out so they take a good nap in the afternoon. So, she kills two birds with one stone (I don't really mean killing real birds)
However, after such an unbearable, seemingly long Winter, it felt so good to go outside in the warm pre-spring air. I actually went out for an hour with the new baby. It felt great. I was able to enjoy watching my mom work outside and see how the work has progressed. Hopefully when she is finished, I will then have a place to begin when it is time f0r me to actually go out and get some outdoor work done.
I will have to think about planting a garden soon (if I could only figure out a way to keep the rabbits out).

Game on
Well it is that time of year again. The annual March Madness NCAA basketball tournament. Usually I do not get into college basketball, but this particular event I just LOVE. I look forward to putting my bracket together and picking my teams. The main challenge comes from figuring out how well you do from day to day. Day 1: so far so good.
Last year we had a friendly competition in our church where the winner (the one with the most points) received a dinner from all the losers. I don't think she ever got it by the way (the winner was not me).
Usually one of my final four teams gets eliminated in the second round, so that messes me up the rest of the tournament.

Long Time No Hear!!
I have been away for good reason. I read a friends blog and understood what she was saying about being away from it. I could not think of anything at all to say for the past two weeks, even though I am a person who is seldom lost for words. Usually I can always find ways to butt into everyone's conversation, therefore making myself pretty annoying at times.
I was away having baby #3. Now recovering from my surgery, finding time to be on the computer has been scarce for me. As my friend said on her blog, I will try to think of topics to blog about. Now maybe something on baby antics. HMMMM?? Others with new babies (I know there is at least one reader with a new baby) maybe can share their baby's antics.
Ta ta for now.
